The Lord gave me this song just for a specific event. I was invited to speak at a Ladies
ministry function in Ohio. The theme was "Daughters of the King." As I began praying and
studying the message God laid on my heart, I sensed how the Lord wants us to accept that
we are sisters and yes, daughters of the King. I began searching the scriptures and came
across Psalm 45:13 – “the king’s daughter is all glorious within…(KJV).” The Lord led me to
share how as His daughters we have that relationship, and we have an inheritance which
makes us "glorious because of Him."
From there the song was born using the scriptures God led me to speak on during the
event. "So arise my sisters and go forth - we are daughters of the King." Claim your
inheritance!
